Who are we?

My name is Diane, together with my husband Glenn and our 4 boys, Jayme (2009), Nick (2011), Dylan (2014) and Jack (2015) we live in Vlaardingen.
In addition to our Ragdolls, we also have a cross Siberian forest cat, Zuma.
In 2021 we expanded our gang with a great Golden Retriever Bobby!

I grew up with animals from home and when I went to live on my own, it was no surprise that cats came into the house!
These eventually became 4 normall cats, Jinxy, Dexter, Gino and Elmo.
From the moment we had children of our own, I thought it was important that they also grew up with animals and learned to treat them with respect.
Dexter and Gino had passed away in the meantime and we noticed that Jinxy and Elmo didn't like the children much, they were friendly to the children, but didn't look for them to come and cuddle or play.

This made us decide to buy a kitten for the boys, Zuma, in 2017.
Zuma is also really into the boys, he doesn't like me that much, but the boys are showered with cuddles and cups.
As much fun as Zuma has with the boys, we noticed that he missed a cat playmate.
He wanted to play with Jinxy and Elmo, but they were now 14 and 15 years old and didn't feel like such a "young busy thing".

After a search, we ended up with Lizzy in 2018, our first Ragdoll and therefore also the "culprit" of my hobby.

After a lot of reading, gathering information, gaining knowledge of genetics, and all this 10 more times, I officially registered Ragdoll Cattery Di Dossie as a Cattery with the NRKV in 2019 and the adventure could begin!
In the meantime we have made the switch to Mundikat because we show according to the rules of Fife.
